We are now facing the question of which flooring to choose for our basement. Unfortunately, tile installers are very expensive. When comparing prices, we found that using 10 euro DIY store tiles would end up costing about the same as installing an inexpensive light oak parquet. But is parquet really a good idea for the basement? (Our basement is a waterproof concrete shell and connected to a ventilation system.) Thank you for your advice.
