Username_wahl19 Jul 2015 09:48Hello, is 3 m (10 feet) wide enough for a driveway and parking space next to the house?
The plot width is about 17 m (56 feet), the house width is approximately 10.20 m (33.5 feet), and the garage width is about 3.80 m (12.5 feet) with adjacent boundary construction.
Originally, we planned the garage to be 3.15 m (10.3 feet) wide, with the driveway/parking area around 3.65 m (12 feet) wide.
Unfortunately, the building permit / planning permission application is already ready for submission, and making changes would be complicated.

Username_wahl19 Jul 2015 11:25On each side, there is only about 50 cm (20 inches) available for opening the doors and for getting in and out. Is that enough?

Sebastian7919 Jul 2015 12:23It's tight, but that way you avoid the luxury of both getting out together, and the passenger has to get out first.
I don't see this as a real problem, and it won't be any different with our carport.
