Hi everyone,

Since I have seen some mostly negative comments about the Lindura flooring from Meister here in the forum, but those posts are a few years old and refer to the HD300 version, I wanted to ask about this again. Apparently, the HD400 flooring was recently updated as well (article number starting with 89xx).

My concern is this: for a renovation project, we are considering installing Lindura flooring, either as a floating floor or glued down. Are there any experiences with the new HD400 floors? How is the installation? How sensitive is the floor? Any other problems or positive feedback…

I would be very grateful for your replies.

Best regards,
Martin

Are there any experience-based insights here by now? 🙂
We are currently deciding between Lindura and Meister Rigid Design flooring ourselves.

I’m also currently considering this.
Based on the samples, you really can’t judge the sorting at all. I’ll probably have to ask the supplier if I can take a look at some full boards.
I’m also interested in the oil versus lacquer debate.
Lacquer would be much less demanding in terms of maintenance, but oil looks nicer (at least based on the A4-size sample).

Sometimes you read that Lindura is quite prone to scratching. What would be your alternative consideration?

We have had the floor (hd400 naturally oiled - oak authentic brushed 8904) for a little over six months and are completely satisfied. We were initially concerned because of negative reviews here, so we had it installed first in the office and bedroom. From furnishing, there is one noticeable scratch that we treated with oil. If you don’t know it’s there, you won’t see it. Otherwise, no scratches. This is possibly due to the oiled finish (not lacquered). There are photos here that we can’t relate to. Knots in the wood are a matter of personal taste – we like them. The feel and appearance are excellent. The living room will follow.

Hello, is there perhaps a short experience report on this?
