What do you think about this master bathroom layout?
We didn’t really want the shower to be so hidden since we plan to outfit it in a high-quality and stylish way. It would be nice if it could be more visible, not just for showering. But during the plumbing planning, we were advised to keep it like this (because of the water pipes).
What’s your opinion? Or does anyone have an idea on how to create more visibility into the shower?
The two washbasins are marked incorrectly. We will only use one washbasin (1m wide (39 inches)). Our idea is to move the bathtub to where the washbasins are currently shown and place the washbasin on the right wall instead. We want the bathtub to have a prominent spot in the room instead of being “in the corner” when we bathe.
Currently planned components:
Toilet: Duravit Happy D.2 extended version, 25500900001
Washbasin: Villeroy & Boch Venticello 1000x500mm (39x20 inches), 4104ALR1
Bathtub: still considering either Villeroy & Boch Squaro Edge 12 Combipool Invisible (UIP190SQE2B1V96) or a Kaldewei Conoduo, both 190x90cm (75x35 inches) (235200010001)
Shower:

It’s not my main focus, but in the picture I think I see a circulation system... thinner pipe diameters seem justified only if no circulation system is installed (3-liter rule). Why save just a few dollars by using a smaller pipe size...?
I believe the Hansgrohe PowderRain was specified at under 20 liters...The 3-liter rule is not relevant for a single-family house. It only applies to large-scale systems.

According to the definition, a system is considered large if the hot water storage tank is larger than 400L (105 gallons) OR the water volume in the pipe from the hot water storage tank to the fixture is greater than 3L (0.8 gallons). However, this rarely occurs in a single-family house. For a pipe with an inner diameter of 15mm (0.6 inches), the length would need to be more than 17m (56 feet) for this to happen.

I think we might be talking past each other.

The 3-liter rule is also used to help define whether a system is considered small-scale or large-scale. This can determine whether circulation is required. That wasn’t my point, though, and I believe that’s what you are referring to?

The discussion about the cross-section, but less about the pipe diameter and more about the droplets. Certainly, with a suitable adjustable air injection just before the shower nozzles, you could achieve a finer atomization effect. But I personally use a standard showerhead, and after 10 p.m., out of consideration for the neighbor, even without singing—without this loss of enjoyment traumatizing me (and the cleaning effect is also excellent). I don’t necessarily need a shower to transform into a whirlpool with flowing water.
