Dilekkayra1 Oct 2021 21:11Hi, we had a Pandomo floor installed. The color was supposed to be light gray. It was, until the floor was sealed. Now, one day after sealing, the floor has turned completely beige.
Additionally, the floor looks very wavy. Has anyone experienced this? Will the beige tint disappear once the sealant is fully absorbed?
The first picture shows the color before sealing, the second after sealing.

HilfeHilfe2 Oct 2021 07:21What does the publisher or manufacturer say?
When was it sealed? Completely dry, or is today the first day the floor can bear weight? How does it look in daylight?
The waves can have several causes, but since the sealant is basically self-leveling (it’s liquid), it could also be just an optical illusion. Where the sealant is thicker, it takes longer to dry completely. Of course, it might also be poorly applied, but if it was done recently, I would give it some more time.
The yellowish tint might also come from the lights; feel free to share a photo in daylight.
Our exposed screed isn’t completely uniform either, but that was intentional. When the lights are on, it looks more beige. In daylight, it’s almost white.

Dilekkayra2 Oct 2021 08:21The floor has only been walkable since October 6, 2021. The final sealing was done on September 30, 2021.
We didn’t want a perfectly smooth surface, but also nothing wavy.
I will take another photo today in daylight. I already don’t like the color, but the waviness is really the icing on the cake!
You just feel powerless; now you obviously can’t remove the entire floor and have a new one installed. So do I just have to accept it as it is?!

Dilekkayra2 Oct 2021 10:33I definitely think that as a floor installer, you need to consider the lighting! Painters do that as well.
I don’t mind some texture, but here it looks to me like the floor was just poured and not properly finished. I should add that the living room is 100m² (1,076 sq ft), so I find it even worse to have these kinds of waves on such a large surface.
But I will contact Pandomo directly now and ask if this is normal!
