Hello everyone,

Our house will probably have the facade facing this direction:

Modern two-story villa with pool, terrace, and garden in a sunny outdoor area.

The bay windows will be in a gray shade with a slight brownish tint, and the house walls will be white with a hint of yellow.

The roof is fully planned to be covered with photovoltaic modules, currently in full black. We are having difficulty choosing the right roof color. So far, the Braas Harzer Pfanne tile is planned. I can hardly find any photos showing these combinations, and I would appreciate it if you have any or could give your opinion.

It doesn’t matter at all if everything is already full of photovoltaic panels.
In that case, I would even consider metal roofing.

We faced the same choice (photovoltaics / question of roof color). For us, only slate, granite, and black are allowed.

I would have preferred slate, my partner wanted black. As a compromise, we went with granite.

Take any black pan and invest the time you save from thinking about it into other planning tasks.

We also have black glazed roof tiles and "almost" entirely dark photovoltaic modules.

I am also planning to cover the entire roof with full black Aiko photovoltaic panels (they look like TVs, so really black). I still think the color is important because the edges are visible everywhere.
We are also getting Braas Frankfurter Pfanne.
“Frankfurter Pfanne (Novo) matte
Slate gray” according to the protocol.
The color seems quite light gray to us. There was a darker option, I think called Slate, but it had a brownish tint. Since we wanted gray windows, shutters, and gutters as well, we didn’t want any brownish tones. So we preferred gray instead.

Black would have been our preferred choice, but it was not available as a free option. And we certainly won’t pay extra for something that will be almost completely covered by photovoltaic panels.

By the end of December, I might be done with the photovoltaic installation and able to share some pictures.
