In our garden, along a property boundary, we have an old brick wall (not a building wall), probably from the 1960s (see photo). Unfortunately, I’m not sure if it is just plain bricks or if it is also faced with bricks. Maybe someone can identify this look? The wall is continuously exposed to the weather and we now want to paint it gray because the current color is really unpleasant. Could you give us advice on how to proceed and which products to use to ensure the paint lasts for a long time? Online, we have read that "regular paint" might not adhere well to this type of facing bricks. We would appreciate any tips!
