Hello
For the past three days, our facade has been repainted by a company (priming, two coats of paint). It is a house with a facade from the 1960s (location Munich), so without insulation, etc. I looked at the buckets and the company is using "StoPrim Silikat" for the primer (marked as suitable for both exterior and interior) and for the topcoat "StoColor Sil In", which according to the label is an interior paint. I spoke to the painter (he doesn’t speak German very well), and he said it’s the best paint, he has been using it for 15 years, very expensive, etc.
So far everything looks good, but what should be made of this?
Is it acceptable to use this product for exterior facade painting, and does it have advantages or disadvantages?
Is this well known among painters even though the product data sheet says otherwise?
The company must have completed many projects with these products.
Thank you very much if anyone here can help me

But who can blame a painter for washing out used buckets and reusing them for transport, mixing, or applying? That’s good re-/upcycling.
Although it can be confusing for us customers. With tools inside, however, it’s clearly identifiable.
And: it’s a good paint, we use it too. From the tool bucket indoors.
