Hello everyone,

We had our screed installed a week ago, and before all the technical equipment is installed in the basement, we would like to paint the room white.
What do I need to consider for this?
The walls were built with Poroton blocks, and so far the major unevenness has been leveled, and a thin layer of bonding plaster has been applied. Next, we plan to use electrical plaster to cover the chases and electrical boxes, and then paint the room white. Do we need a primer or adhesion promoter for this?

I appreciate any tips.
Uploading pictures is unfortunately not working at the moment ;/ but will be added if needed.

You will definitely need a primer, otherwise the paint will be absorbed too quickly! Use good quality paint and primer, preferably professional-grade. DIY store paint is only suitable to a limited extent for new coatings.

This is what I had in mind:
To cover the electrical wiring with gypsum plaster and to prime the walls with a deep primer.
Once everything is dry, to repaint with white paint.

Do you need a different deep primer for the ceiling (which is a precast concrete slab) than for the red Poroton bricks?

We won’t be using cheap paint. Is Alpinaweiß from the hardware store already something decent?
