ᐅ Painting and Plastering Work – Quality of Third Coat Skimming on Walls

drnaticyHello everyone,
We are currently building with a construction company, but unfortunately our trust in them has already deteriorated significantly.
The jointing and plastering work (allegedly Q3 level) has now been carried out, and I have serious concerns about the quality.
Open pores are visible on almost all wall surfaces, both on the exterior plaster and on the drywall areas.
Additionally, some transition areas were filled with painter’s acrylic, which to me looks more like a temporary fix.
In response to my complaint, I was told that further treatment of the surface would correspond to Q4 quality. Further smoothing is supposedly not possible because otherwise “bulges would form” due to the substrate (masonry or drywall) not being perfectly even.
In my view, open pores and visible irregularities do not match these quality levels.
Therefore, my questions for you:
Does the described appearance actually correspond to a Q3 finish?
Are open pores to this extent acceptable?
Is the company’s explanation technically correct, or is it rather an indication of poor workmanship?

I would be especially grateful for assessments from professionals or people with experience in drywall and painting.
Thank you in advance!
