Hello,

can you really tell the difference if a professional did the work or a non-expert like me? I'm wondering if I could maybe save the 1000€ and spend that money elsewhere, because I think... anyone can paint. I've done it a few times myself and thought it looked pretty good, but I've never actually seen the direct difference.

For me, it’s more about the fact that I really don’t feel like painting at all. Maybe the difference isn’t even that noticeable, but I just hate painting and hanging wallpaper—hated tasks number one, right after washing dishes 😀

Oh yes, I know that feeling well – I don’t like painting either. I’d rather call a painter and watch how they do it – I just can’t manage it myself, it doesn’t look good when I do it. I want to feel comfortable in my space and not constantly focus on the mistakes in my work.

I’m not sure if the difference is really noticeable, but I do know that a professional painter can paint much faster than any of us. For me, it was always a matter of time. Everything has to be finished quickly, so there’s no time for me to do it myself.

You can’t really see a difference if it’s just about painting a wall, but rather when it involves certain techniques that not everyone can do and that require practice.

I would like to have my apartment repainted by a professional painter, but I just can't afford it. It’s not only the labor cost I have to pay, but also the paint itself.
