Hello everyone,

Thanks to a Google search, I found this forum and have already read some very interesting posts.

We are currently putting together our first IKEA kitchen. Style: white with Bodbyn fronts.

Using the IKEA 3D planner and their “kitchen experts,” we have made good progress with the design, and now we are working on the “fine tuning.” Except for the refrigerator (HÄFTIGT), we would like to choose high-quality built-in appliances for our new kitchen from brands like Bosch, AEG, Neff, etc.

At the moment, I am looking for a new dishwasher... I have found many discussions on this forum, but none matched my “requirements,” or maybe I missed a suitable thread.

I hope you can help me... for our open kitchen, I am looking for a “very quiet” dishwasher with a flexible hinge (Vario hinge).

Unfortunately, most models start at around 43 dB... I’m not sure if this might be too loud... maybe you could share your experiences.

Currently, we have the semi-integrated Bosch SMI68M85EU SuperSilence with a rated noise level of 42 dB... which should theoretically be completely adequate since it really does run very quietly.

Thank you for your help.

Best regards

EDIT: I have changed the thread title, as it is no longer just about the dishwasher.

Hello,

thanks for your input. But as I mentioned, we need one with a freezer compartment. I just looked into it ... the following refrigerators caught my attention:

A / category around 600€
Bosch KIS87KF31 around 610€
Siemens KI87SAF30 around 615€
Bosch KIS86AD30 around 730€

A
Bosch KIS87AD40 around 850€

The Bosch and Siemens models are quite similar, so I don’t think there’s much difference. I found the KIS87AD40 in another thread. The difference between A and A is about 30€/year in energy consumption. Somehow, that doesn’t justify the higher price premium of around 200€ or more. I also don’t see any major advantages.

Oh, and the front and door of the IKEA tall cabinet are 60x80cm (24x31 inches) and 60x140cm (24x55 inches).

Those are all fridge/freezer combos and not refrigerators with a freezer compartment.

@Chef He wants a separate freezer compartment.

All four appliances can be built in. Many people consider No Frost important, but none of these models have it.

Hey! Quick question... does the Villeroy & Boch single-bowl sink fit without any issues on the Ikea base cabinet designed for the domsjö?
