Our kitchen is complete. You just have to like the country style.
The tiles are covered with protective film.

I also find it quite nice. Do you have a second cooking area, or what is the "lowered" part? Where did you hide the dishwasher?

The lowered unit is a wood stove with a ceramic cooktop. It was already there before, which is why it still has the old height of 86cm (34 inches).
The dishwasher is located to the left of the electric stove.
We installed the Ikea kitchen ourselves.
We ordered the countertop from a carpenter and had it installed.

You don’t have to like the country house style to appreciate that you have created a very harmonious kitchen with a loving attention to detail. I really like it—even if I wouldn’t do it the same way myself.
