What a wonderful house with a beautiful garden. Are there more pictures of it?A (unfortunately only limited) workaround would be to enter "pictures" in the search function and then enter "Steffi33" under "posted by:". Limited because it only leads to part of the desired results.https://www.instagram.com/11antgmxde/

I think they look nice, but if you consider the effort involved in opening and closing them multiple times a day on a cloudy but sunny day, they are more decorative than practical, right? We have aluminum ones all around the house.
The big advantage is that you can close them in the morning to keep the heat out, but inside it’s not as dark as with roller shutters. At night, you can close them and open the window behind without worrying about someone breaking in—this is how people do it in southern Europe.
However, they do limit the window sizes you can have, and they aren’t cheap.
But I just love the Mediterranean look they give off.
Everything has to fit together, including the style of the house. People who prefer black and white shades might do better with Venetian blinds (also called blinds or venetian blinds)—a click, and everything lowers, which is practical.
That said, you always have to be careful with wind, and since we live on a hill, it wouldn’t have made much sense here.
