Hello,
Since we now have a plot of land and have not yet decided on a construction company, the question arises: How should the house be positioned on the plot?
In the attached image, you can see the plot. The north/south orientation matches the image. The street is to the south. The neighbors to the north and west are not an issue, as their gardens and so on face the other way. There are no heat pumps or similar equipment, so overall it is very quiet. The neighbors to the east have a kind of conservatory facing our side, meaning someone will often be sitting there.
Our plot is 740 m2 (about 8,000 sq ft) and measures 28 x 25 m (92 x 82 feet). There is a slight slope from the street to the north, but it is generally not significant.
In the image, you see the "original" plan. The terrace was planned on the west side. We have decided against the southeast side because we prefer to have sun at midday and in the evening.
Now we also want to have photovoltaic panels, and this layout is not ideal for that. Or what do you think?
Currently, I am thinking of a house measuring 9 x 10 m (30 x 33 feet), oriented with the long side facing the street. The problem is that there are hardly any house floor plans designed for this kind of orientation. Most of them have the terrace on the north side.
Or am I missing something here? What do you think about this plan?

So... unfortunately, I don’t have a program that allows digital visualization, so it’s all DIY. One square equals 1 meter (3 feet 3 inches).
Attached is also an image of the cadastral map.
Neighbor on the left: only has a garage, terrace, and garden facing west towards us.
Neighbor on the right: has a conservatory, garden/terrace facing north towards us.
Neighbor above: has a terrace there, no large garden.
The plot slopes down about 1-2 meters (3-6 feet) from south to north.
And then two images, unfortunately very simple, but an idea of how everything should be arranged.
We would like the terrace to face west. The question is whether to extend it around the corner to the south, but then you would be sitting quite close to the street (which is hardly trafficked). One idea would be to move the house further north, but then you end up with 1. a very long driveway, unless the parking space is placed at the front, and 2. a 3-5 meter (10-16 feet) wide strip at the north side that would be completely shaded and lower. I don’t think that would be ideal.
Therefore, the idea was to position the house 3-4 meters (10-13 feet) from the street and create a front garden there.
The exact location of the parking space needs to be considered, as well as whether it will be a double parking space.
The parking space should include a shed.
Cuboid = small extension, probably with a wood finish.

pagoni202022 Dec 2020 13:10And here we go again with the slow approach... You’re frustrated about the answers in the other thread but simply don’t provide the necessary information to really help you. @ypg just wrote this earlier and what do you answer? Everything except that.
Is there a reason you refuse to provide this?
The previous posters in this thread alone have already pointed out important aspects to you, but you haven’t responded to any of them. In the end, the forum gets blamed again. You have received numerous questions, hints, and requests, you even mention a completed floor plan, and now you post THIS here, wow! And you even call it "floor plan" in the subject line.
Where is your finished floor plan — of the apartment, not the garden cube?
Where is the detailed completed questionnaire and the answers to the many questions here?
You want a garden house as a cube with a wood finish for everyone, so the most important things should already be clarified...
Seriously, people lose motivation when you avoid their questions... Your other thread has 22!!! pages with zero concrete information from you that would be needed to help.

More details will follow once I have scanned the floor plan. In the meantime, I prepared a three-course meal with organic turkey for two households, four people, closest family circle.
I was also able to take a few screenshots in the meantime...
Have you been able to scan the floor plan yet?
