Hello everyone,

I have a few questions about the most efficient approach for the upcoming interior finishing work at our place. The main goal is, of course, to be able to move in as soon as possible. Here is the situation:
- The screed will be poured at the end of this week or the beginning of next week. It is clear that it needs to dry before any floor covering can be installed. I would like to know which tasks I can carry out during the drying phase.
The idea is definitely to apply joint compound to the concrete ceilings and then sand them together with the walls.
Afterwards, everything is going to be wallpapered with fleece wallpaper. Can this already be done, or is it better to do it after the screed has been sanded?
In addition, the attic and ceiling on the upper floor still need to be insulated and airtight sealed. (After that, the counter battens and drywall panels need to be installed, then joint compound and so on.) Could this also be done during the drying time? Or is it still too damp and moisture might accumulate behind the membrane? I want to try to make the best use of these 4–6 weeks of drying time. Do you have any recommendations for me? Of course, it may also be that I should just keep my hands off for now. That’s fine too.
Thanks and best regards

At our site, water initially dripped from the precast concrete slab and the already installed vapor retarder.
So, the conditions were more like a tropical climate, and outside on the construction site, airing the rooms three times a day and drying the windows made no difference.

In this phase, we will install the drainage and wastewater pipes up to the house connection, meaning we will carry out the exterior civil engineering work. Working inside is not ideal due to the high humidity.
