we want to have a walkway paved in our garden leading to the garden shed, so you don’t have to walk across the lawn to get there.
The walkway should be placed directly next to the fence, which is 1.80m (5 ft 11 in) high.
What is a good width for the walkway to allow comfortable walking?

Otherwise 90cm (35 inches). The question is also... where does the path to the garden shed start from, and what is in the garden shed? A lounge area or just garden tools?
And always along the fence... hmm... is that really the shortest and most common route afterwards? If not, people often walk over the lawn and so on.

In our garden, we have laid natural stone stepping slabs through the lawn instead of a full path – that works for us and, in my opinion, looks nicer.
