Hello everyone, we are just starting to build and are now planning the kitchen and floor tiles. We are having a hard time imagining if everything will match well, so it would be great to hear some opinions. We will have an open living/kitchen area and are considering dark floor tiles with a metallic look (black/silver) and a kitchen with a wood effect in gray oak or silver oak, so also relatively dark. The countertop will be gray, with silver trims, and the walls will be light. There is plenty of natural light, and the kitchen/living area is quite spacious. Do you think it might look too dark together? Thank you very much for your opinions. Best regards

A kitchen planner should be able to simulate and take that into account. Have you already consulted one?
Which area exactly do you want to tile? Only the space between the kitchen counter and island, or the entire kitchen area?

Nice tile. For me, it would probably be too dark in combination with silver oak. I would tend to prefer lighter oak instead. Also because I find the contrast between the tiles and a warmer tone more appealing. What about the rest? White walls, white ceiling? Are there many windows and enough light everywhere?
