murphy83Hello everyone,
We recently tried to reactivate an older IKEA bunk bed model called "Bislet." During the process, we encountered a few minor issues: it seems that some screws, fittings, and connectors are missing.
Unfortunately, we no longer have the assembly instructions. I don’t really need them for the assembly itself, as the process is fairly logical based on the parts and the worn areas on the wood. However, having the instructions would be quite helpful for ordering replacement parts.
Does anyone have the instructions or the same bunk bed model, so they could share a few photos?
Specifically, we are looking for replacement parts for the connectors between the upper and lower bunks. These are probably threaded cross bolts with a hole spacing of 64mm (2.5 inches) and the corresponding screws. Since the rest of the bed uses M6 threads, I assume these connectors are also M6 threaded. Additionally, there are supposed to be mounting points for the guardrail on the upper bunk, as the boards show a recess on the end side meant for this.
I will also try my luck directly with IKEA, but I have little hope they still stock all the replacement parts for such an old model (which probably dates back to the early 1980s). If necessary, I will consider manufacturing the parts myself.
