Hello experts,
I am considering buying a dishwasher that is a few years old for my new IKEA METOD kitchen, but I am not entirely sure if this model will fit.
The seller is also unsure about the model since it is at least 8 years old. I am attaching a few photos. A reverse image search suggests that it is an IKEA RENLIG DW60.
The door height is approximately 64 cm (25 inches), and the total height is about 81–85 cm (32–33 inches).
Could someone find out if this will actually fit with METOD with Behjälplig?

or something like that.We still bought Faktum in 2014. Metod didn’t exist yet.Tolentino schrieb:
Then you were among the last ones. Unfortunately. If we had known that Faktum would be discontinued, we would have waited. Now we have the budget-friendly baskets instead of drawers, which could actually be upgraded.
Regarding your question, I can only suggest buying a different dishwasher for Metod.
Online classifieds are full of relatively new used machines that are probably better than the old Renlig.
Not only Ikea appliances fit into Metod, but also branded products, which are by now quieter and more environmentally friendly.
Yes, but without modification it is still limited if you want full integration. Then you need this variable hinge, and these appliances are more expensive again. So I can understand why people look on the second-hand market. However, I wouldn’t buy a dishwasher that is 8 years old anymore.
