Hello everyone,

I have received a quote for the heating system.
The house is about 140m² (1507 sq ft) plus a basement. In the basement, all rooms except the technical room (about 20m² / 215 sq ft) are heated with underfloor heating.

Vitocal 200-S AWB 201.C10 7.7 kW
300-liter (79-gallon) domestic hot water tank

The price is approximately 28,400€.

The price includes underfloor heating, air-to-water heat pump, storage tank, and full installation.
Is this price reasonable?

The quote is from the general contractor.

It is a compact unit with an integrated 180-liter (47-gallon) fresh water tank.
That is indeed a point we ourselves are curious about.

Thank you all for your feedback.

It’s clear that the €10,000 will be recovered elsewhere, which is why I also included the regular price of €17,950. Since this price is publicly available online, it serves as a good point of comparison.

No, the 140 m² (1,507 sq ft) does not include the basement. However, I mentioned the basement separately in another post. The total area is about 180 m² to 190 m² (1,938 to 2,045 sq ft).

Addendum:
I just checked again:
In the item “basement finishing,” there is an additional €4,500 listed for underfloor heating.
That brings the heating costs to nearly €33,000.
Unbelievable.
