ᐅ Standard steel door or fire-rated door (e.g., T30 fire door)?

Hello everyone,

I want to install a steel door in the garage, but it won’t lead to the living area; instead, it will open into the technical room where the heat pump is located.
There is no access from this technical room to the rest of the adjacent living unit.
According to the plan, however, the technical room is part of the living area.
The wall (inside the garage) where the door is to be installed is therefore the exterior wall of the house.
At least this wall has been fitted with 20cm (8 inches) of wood fiber insulation, mind you, inside the garage. The wall structure of the house, from the outside inward, consists of 10cm (4 inches) CLT solid wood panels + 20cm (8 inches) of wood fiber insulation.

I hope this makes sense.

Attached is an excerpt from the construction plan.
My questions:
1. Do I need a T30 fire-rated door here? I live in Rhineland-Palatinate, in case that’s relevant.
2. Can I use a corner frame (e.g., for drywall installations) due to the 20cm (8 inches) insulation (marked in red) onto the 10cm (4 inches) solid wood, or do I have to use a block frame?

Best regards,
Tito

Reducing the clear opening dimension means adding an extra 30cm (12 inches) of wood at the top of the opening, so I end up with a 2.03m (6 ft 8 in) clear opening and can use a standard size?
