I would like to buy the Aspelund bed frame, which is available in 160cm x 200cm (63 inches x 79 inches), but I haven’t found a suitable slatted bed base for that size. Now I’m wondering why there is a bed frame available, but no slatted bed base to go with it. Can you use two slatted bed bases of 80cm x 200cm (31 inches x 79 inches) instead, or is that not possible?

Elvis_122010 Jan 2012 18:24Of course, that’s possible...! 😉 You actually have to do it that way. The two 80cm (31.5 inches) sections are supported in the middle by the Skorva center beam.
And don’t be surprised if you didn’t find a larger one – Ikea doesn’t offer sizes bigger than 140x200cm (55x79 inches).
