Hello, next year I am building a KW40 solid construction house that includes a Milan ventilation system with heat recovery.

Now I would like to ask about your experiences with it.

I am somewhat concerned about dry air—do you have any insights or practical experiences?

Thank you very much

Proper professional installation is essential to ensure the system operates quietly, and the system must not be underdimensioned.
The air is dried by the system, but that does not mean the indoor climate becomes unbearable; it has to be that way because new houses are largely airtight. I also recommend using G7 class filters to keep pollen and fine dust out. You can tell by the dust inside the house.
I no longer want to do without my system—it’s really great and runs all year round for me.
If you also want to install a fireplace, you must inform the company about installing a pressure monitor.
Enjoy your new home!

Okay

Is your system also from Milan?

Mine is from Zehnder. The neighbor has Milan and is satisfied, even though he tends to complain, but he has nothing to criticize here.
If you are looking for alternatives, both companies are good.

Here, many people have ventilation systems with heat recovery, and everyone is satisfied. Some were initially concerned about the indoor climate, but everything is fine.

The most important thing is that it must be efficient, not underpowered. By the way, the electricity costs are negligible, hardly worth mentioning.
