Hello,

we are planning to install a wooden floor in our new house, which is equipped with underfloor heating. We have not yet decided on the type of wood flooring, but it should of course be suitable for underfloor heating 🙂

Since a new screed takes quite a long time to dry out, how should the subfloor for the parquet/laminate be prepared? Are there any other things we should consider?

Best regards

Such floor coverings have a higher thermal resistance compared to, for example, tiles. This must be taken into account when calculating the heating surface areas. To still operate with low flow temperatures, it may be necessary to adjust the pipe spacing or the number of heating circuits accordingly.
