Since March 2011, a new guideline for storm protection on new roof coverings seems to be in effect.
Other builders have apparently already received a letter from Weberhaus with an additional cost offer. Is this allowed, or is Weberhaus required to deliver the work according to current technical regulations? I couldn’t find anything about this in the scope of work.
What do you think?
Thanks for the information,
Andreas

Bulla200011 Jul 2011 19:59It was taken over by the independent structural engineer and should be handled that way. After all, such risks are factored in when the contract is signed. For our roof (clipping every second tile) it was about 500 euros net. A roof not installed according to the rules is defective, thus retention rights on payments apply.
