Hello everyone,
My girlfriend and I are currently planning a new kitchen at IKEA.
After reading a lot here, many people have chosen a different dishwasher than the one from IKEA, which makes installation quite difficult.
[List:9yql848c]Can someone tell me why you do this?
What advantages does it have?
What about the current machines that IKEA offers—aren’t they good enough (5-year warranty)?[/List:u:9yql848c]
We would consider the Rengöra, Skinande, or Välgjord models.
I’m curious why you decided against these products—are they not that great?
Thanks in advance.

At first, I was against having a cutlery drawer until I actually saw one in person. After that, it convinced me.
Long cooking spoons fit perfectly, as do dough scrapers, small items like garlic presses or cocktail shaker stoppers, Weck jar lids, Weck rubber rings ^^, mini espresso spoons, cookie cutters, roulade needles, and skewers... All things that used to drive me crazy in the cutlery basket. And the basket on the bottom level took up space I needed more urgently for pots and bowls.
When choosing our Siemens dishwasher, I selected it based on how high the upper rack could be adjusted—so that large plates and lids, as well as tall pots and glasses, would fit below. There can be significant differences in the adjustable height.
