what are your experiences with the window sill height for a built-in toilet flush system?
I have 3 options:
- 137cm (54 inches): flush button vertical
- 119cm (47 inches): button at the top (horizontal)
- 132cm (52 inches): impossible or I have to place the toilet elsewhere

At least I don’t find it any more unpleasant if I’m not the one being sprayed on (and I can always close the lid if I want to).
How do I come to that? If you have to close the lid before flushing, you then have to lift it again afterward to brush or at least check the toilet. For someone who isn’t in the habit of doing this regularly, every extra step reduces the willingness to do it. This applies to any task, not just toilet cleaning. Also, it’s hard to flush while brushing, and then the mess stays on the brush, which I don’t find very pleasant either (although this problem can mostly be solved with silicone brushes. No idea why they haven’t become more common yet).
