ᐅ New Construction KfW 70: Decentralized or Central Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery?

We are currently planning our new build (240 m² (2,583 sq ft) living space, 2 full stories, converted attic). Our building contract currently includes a decentralized ventilation system from Lunos e2. Has anyone had experience with this system in a new build? What is the difference compared to a central mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery? What are the advantages and disadvantages of both systems?

The biggest disadvantage of the central system is the cost.
