Hello everyone,

My natural stone supplier was commissioned to provide Nero Luanda with a flamed finish. This was agreed upon based on a sample.

After receiving a faulty slab (partially damaged), now there is another issue: the new slab is noticeably lighter than the agreed-upon sample. My supplier says this is due to a different surface treatment.

He has offered to darken the slabs using a color enhancer. According to him, this is permanent and will not wash out.

The slabs are intended to be used as both wall caps and for an outdoor bar counter.

Now I have the following questions:
- Are significant color differences possible due to the surface treatment (both are textured)? Or is someone trying to sell me a different stone?
- Is the color enhancer really permanent?
- How does this behave on the bar counter, where food will also be placed on the stone, in combination with cleaning agents... is this safe?

Since the amount of stone is not inexpensive, I want to be on the safe side here.

Regards,
