Hello everyone,
I built a counter using OSB boards and would now like to install natural stone veneer as cladding. Since the stone veneer would not adhere properly to OSB boards, I plan to attach Fermacell boards onto the OSB and then install the veneer on top. Would this work, or could there still be issues due to different material expansion? If so, does anyone have any suggestions?

Check what type of substrate the sample panels in the showrooms are applied to.
As an alternative approach, you can finish the cladding panels first and then install them onto the counter.
