Hello,

I have watched a few videos about multi-utility connections. In our case, the gas line remains unused.

Can we use this connection to route cables out of the house? We need to run two thick power cables to the garage for further distribution, 3 double LAN cables, a KNX cable, 2 telecommunications lines for the garden gate buzzer, 3 x NYM 5-core cables, possibly a vacuum hose, power supply for a cistern, a power cable for an awning motor, and I’m sure I’ve forgotten a few others.

How do you seal it properly?

The telecom section, as I have seen, has 4 sub-ducts. I need 2 for telecom purposes (copper cable and empty conduit for fiber optic). That leaves 2 sub-ducts free. Can I use those for something else?

Thanks for your answers.

Depending on the manufacturer you use, there are interchangeable inserts for different types of services. There are specific ones for electrical cables in various quantities. However, you will never be able to fit the amount you want to lead outside through these. I would recommend making a separate entry for this, depending on whether you have a basement or not and the groundwater situation.
For example, I have two core drillings with annular space sealing from Hauff, through which I run everything outside.

Hello,

we have a basement. The groundwater level is far below. The soil is sandy.
For example, I have two core boreholes with annular space sealing from Hauff, where I lead everything outside.

How exactly should I imagine this? A conduit comes in, and you have all the components inside it? How do you seal it then?

You could just google "ring space sealing by Hauff"...

I have already done that. Thanks for the note.

Do you also have a multi-utility entry into the garage? Or did you simply drill through?
