ᐅ Mounting IKEA PAX Sliding Doors on a Hinged Door Cabinet

I currently own a Pax wardrobe with hinged doors (2m wide, 2m high).
However, I would like to switch to sliding doors. My question is:
Can I simply install sliding doors on my existing frame? Or are special frames required?
