I recently got an IKEA kitchen, and so far the assembly has gone really well. However, the stylish induction cooktop, NUTID HIN4T, is still missing:
The cabinet is in place, and the cutout has been made. How do I secure this unit to the countertop? The cooktop came with four metal clips, but there are no instructions on how to attach them ;-(
Do you know more about this? Has anyone installed it successfully and can tell me how? I could just lay the cooktop in place, but then all the weight (the electrical connections from below and the cookware from above) would rest on the narrow glass edge. That can’t be right, can it?
Best regards and many thanks in advance, as well as a happy New Year!!!

IKEA-Experte1 Jan 2012 10:11Hello,
I am not specifically familiar with this cooktop, but if brackets are included, they are probably meant to be mounted on the countertop. There should be an installation guide that indicates the correct position. Otherwise, check where the brackets snap into the cooktop and take measurements.
