Hello everyone,
I currently have a frustrating problem and wanted to ask if anyone has any advice on how to deal with this stress... I am the owner of a new house, which my family and I moved into two weeks ago. Now, to my dismay, I have noticed some defects creeping in. The worst part is that my floor is always damp, and mold is beginning to develop slowly... What should I do now??

Hello Uschi,

I think this is outrageous! Get a lawyer and have them sort this out. If everything is damp and mold starts to develop, your living quality will be significantly affected. Don’t accept this and take action against it. 🙄

You hear stories like this all the time! In the end, no one is to blame, and you just end up with expenses and stress. The question is: where does the moisture actually come from? The house was already there when you bought it... maybe this defect was already present before you acquired it?! I think the first thing to do is to check why there is moisture...

Best regards,
Mara

I think Mara is right. You should definitely first find out where the mold is coming from. Only then will you know where the problem lies and who is responsible. I would act quickly because mold is a real health hazard. And considering that it’s already quite warm but still damp, this can’t be a minor issue... All the best! Yung 🙂

If you have mold in your home, it can be very harmful to your health. I want to emphasize this once again. If the problem is not addressed quickly, it will only get worse! The cause must definitely be examined by a professional and then eliminated. Only when the mold is completely removed can it stop spreading. Especially children or people with weakened immune systems can become seriously ill from mold in an apartment or house.
Regards,
Mara 😉

Hello,

I can only agree with Mara. You should get this sorted out. My nephew developed severe asthma because of mold in the apartment. At first, no one knew why he suddenly had asthma. He was a healthy boy. Until the doctor asked if there was mold in the apartment. Then they understood why their son had asthma. My sister also constantly had headaches because of the mold.
