Hello everyone,
I currently have a frustrating problem and wanted to ask if anyone has any advice on how to deal with this stress... I am the owner of a new house, which my family and I moved into two weeks ago. Now, to my dismay, I have noticed some defects creeping in. The worst part is that my floor is always damp, and mold is beginning to develop slowly... What should I do now??

Hello uschi,
I haven’t experienced something like this myself, but I can understand how you must be feeling... Have you contacted the company that installed the floor? This really shouldn’t be happening...

Of course, I called the company that installed the floor, but they say it’s not their fault, but the mason’s... Then I try contacting the mason, and they say it’s not their fault either and pass the blame back onto someone else... So, to this day, I still don’t know who is responsible for it.

Well, that’s really unfortunate... Ok, so I would get a lawyer... They should take a look at everything and then decide what you need to do next. Don’t lose hope... It’s definitely tough, but unfortunately, you have to get through this now...

Hello to both of you,
Uschi, I unfortunately had the same problem as you, and I can tell you it’s a really terrible feeling... You feel completely betrayed... I can only recommend hiring a lawyer... I am very glad today that I had one who really stood up for me. Today I am building again and everything is going great... Unfortunately, the whole process takes time, but don’t give up—you can do it.

Ok, thanks. It’s good to know that there are others who have gone through something similar and haven’t given up... I will fight for our house even though it certainly won’t be easy... Thank you...
