Hello everyone,

we want to cover one wall in our living room with cladding panels from Modernstone. We especially like the WQZ-2 cladding panels.
Has anyone here also covered walls with such cladding panels? What are your experiences? Does it really look good?

Thank you

Are there any pictures of this?
I’ll take some tonight.

What was the wall panel mounted onto?
A sturdy subframe (60x40mm (2.4x1.6 inches) battens)
OSB boards (25mm (1 inch))
Slate tiles (1-2mm (0.04-0.08 inches) thick) - simply attached with tile adhesive
Cabling runs behind the panel (power, HDMI, network)
The OSB slightly protrudes at the edges (you can see this quite well in the third picture), as far as the strip for the LED strips
The slate tiles also extend slightly beyond, so thin strips can be glued on the side to completely cover the subframe (you can still access the strip for the LEDs, of course).

Color and brightness can, of course, be adjusted freely (it looks very bright here, but that is due to the photo). It is also possible (via an additional sensor) to match the color to the TV program, control it with Alexa or similar, and so on. Common LED strip technology.
