Hello everyone,

we want to cover one wall in our living room with cladding panels from Modernstone. We especially like the WQZ-2 cladding panels.
Has anyone here also covered walls with such cladding panels? What are your experiences? Does it really look good?

Thank you

In my opinion, no. What bothers me is the annoyingly repetitive pattern of these panels, which are divided into pseudo-individual stones (even if, which is not the case for all such products, they can be varied by rotating them 180°). I would prefer to use real individual veneer bricks.

I didn’t like the color – it’s very dull.

In the second-to-last house, I attached brick slips behind the (light-colored) waterbed in the bedroom. The installation was straightforward. Attached is a photo from the construction phase:

Currently, I have covered a TV wall with large-format slate. Around the edges, there is indirect LED lighting. Could something like this be an alternative?

Wow, that looks amazing. That’s exactly what I have in mind. The color is a bit too dark for me, but it probably works well with the TV, especially if the TV has backlighting.

Thanks for the pictures

It’s not the TV that has backlighting, but the wall. Ambilight for the wall (right/left/top). Although the TV could still be bigger 😎

Oh, cool! Are there any pictures of it? What was the ceiling panel mounted on?
