Hello everyone, I have a cable issue. I have an ISDN modem and about a year ago I got an ADSL modem, which was connected to the ISDN line. Until now, I’ve only been using Wi-Fi to connect to the internet, but now I want to use a wired connection in the rooms. There is already a cable connected to the socket, but what do I need to do to surf the web via ADSL in the rooms? Thanks in advance.

Hello derpede

You should try Powerline adapters. I use them myself, and they work perfectly. For example, ZyXEL PL-100. You can get them from various retailers.

To make sure I understand correctly, you already have an ISDN connection in every room. In one room, there is an ADSL router (ISDN) that provides wireless internet access?

If that is correct, here is my answer:
The outlets in the other rooms cannot be used directly for internet; you would need an additional ADSL modem for each.

However, it would be better to use the existing router, either by adding a wired network connection or—why not—using more wireless access points?
There are also options to use the electrical wiring as a network connection (details available upon request).
