We are currently facing a problem.
The tile installer cut the opening for the mixer tap about 10mm (0.4 inches) too large. All three of them!!! Two showers and one bathtub mixer tap.
We now have two options:
a) Have it grouted and receive a discount
b) Remove all necessary tiles (including the bathtub area) and redo it.
To the experienced ones: What would you recommend?

What would you recommend? Have it redone! This is not proper craftsmanship. Additionally, with such large gaps, there is a high risk that cracks will develop quickly.
Sometimes what they do is really impressive.
During the construction of our current single-family home, my wife visited the site while the bathrooms were being installed. That day, they were fitting the shower doors.
The problem was that the doors were hung with a 10cm (4 inch) gap above the floor.
My wife asked, “Umm, what’s that about?”
The worker replied, “Umm, the shower tray will go underneath.”
My wife: “Have you looked at the plans and the work order?”
Worker: “Umm, no...”
My wife: “We don’t have a shower tray, we have level-access showers!”
As a result, all the tiles in the shower had to be replaced. Obviously, since they had been drilled for the shower door.
