SnurferHello everyone,
I'm running out of ideas. I have had the Dalskär mixer tap for about a year. Now the aerator / strainer / flow regulator (there are even more names for it) got dirty and clogged with limescale. Usually, that’s not a big deal and can be cleaned quickly.
The aerator has a slot that you can unscrew with a coin. That’s the theory. In practice, though, the aerator falls apart into its individual parts when you try to unscrew it. A visit to my trusted furniture store didn’t help much either. The service there just told me that this part isn’t sold separately. They said I could buy these parts at any hardware store. However, I have checked in three different hardware stores but was unable to find this internal aerator.
I then contacted customer service and explained my problem. They only told me that I have a 10-year warranty and could simply remove the mixer tap and get a new one. Of course, everyone has quick-release fittings on their taps, right?
I found plenty of these aerators online, unfortunately in different sizes and lengths.
Does anyone know which size I need for the aerator? M18, M21, short or long, etc.?
Thanks in advance.
