Hello,
we want to build a patio roof. Which LED spotlights would you recommend?
Should we use 12V/24V or connect directly to 230V and save the transformer?

FrankChief17 Apr 2025 11:43@wiltshire I spoke with the supplier and I can also use a different hole diameter, I would just need to get the appropriate hole saw.
Which LED spotlights would you then recommend for me? Are the Luxvenum the best choice for us, or would you suggest other options?

FrankChief17 Apr 2025 12:28Okay, I couldn't really find anything better than the ones from Luxvenum.
I didn't know Luxvenum at all before.
Right now, I'm still undecided between the Sonne and Mond models (they shine downward, creating a circle of light and add some height) or the Jupiter ones, which are simply semi-circular.

wiltshire17 Apr 2025 15:25I wasn’t familiar with them before either. The light fixtures have good light quality and craftsmanship. Recently, I needed a replacement and, lo and behold, I was able to reach people by phone who had the time to help me. That’s no longer something you can take for granted.

FrankChief22 Apr 2025 08:57@wiltshire I will go with the ones from Luxvenum then
Would you recommend the 24V lights?
So, use 24V lights and then choose the matching transformer
They also have a set with 12V
You specify how many lights you want and the transformer is included
The photo shows a 12V transformer
Both are very similar in price

FrankChief24 Apr 2025 12:19@wiltshire How would you connect the 24V lamps? Which type of cable would you use?
