We have a very narrow and small guest bathroom and are looking for a washbasin with a countertop basin that isn’t too deep or bulky. My husband would prefer just a sink mounted on the wall. But then where do you put the soap dispenser and other items? I think having a bit of shelf space makes sense. How have you solved this in your guest bathrooms?

motorradsilke19 Jan 2023 17:16We also have a very small guest bathroom with a wall-mounted sink without a cabinet underneath. The sink has a recessed area at the back next to the faucet where you can place a soap dispenser.
We solved it like this: the restroom was about 2–3 m² (22–32 sq ft) in size, I believe. The drawer cabinet is the small Godmorgon from the Swedish store. We had the oak wood countertop custom made by a carpenter (but purchased it through eBay). The sink is a river stone basin; there is a quite well-known shop where you can buy these unique pieces. Each unique item is displayed with a photo and its measurements. You can choose the right basin there—we picked one that was as narrow and wide as possible. There are also small ceramic vessel sinks available.
