kronos_786226 Oct 2014 19:15Hello everyone,
I was planning to install the HND72PF50 set with an induction cooktop on a Karlby countertop above the corresponding oven. According to the Bosch installation manual, a 20mm (0.8 inch) gap must be left at the back of the cabinet for air circulation. Does this work with the Maximera drawer 60x60, which is installed below the oven? What is the depth of a closed Maximera drawer?
Additionally, Bosch states that the countertop must withstand temperatures up to 90°C (194°F). I couldn’t find any information about this on the IKEA website.
Can the Karlby countertop handle this?
How are the cut edges around the cooktop sealed?
Thank you very much in advance 🙂
Best regards

IKEA-Experte27 Oct 2014 10:36Hello, you can seal the cut edges with silicone. Everything else should not be a problem. The drawers are 53 cm deep (21 inches).
