ᐅ Preparing Your Lawn for Autumn and Winter

I don’t think I’ll scarify this year. I’ll rather do it more thoroughly next spring. Then fertilize well and sow. Maybe even add about 1cm (0.4 inches) of soil on top. But I’ll decide that spontaneously. It’s probably better this way, otherwise it would be a feast for the birds.

Only scarify in spring.
In autumn, I just repair a few spots in the lawn, overseed, and apply some fertilizer, but not over the entire lawn.
The whole lawn gets attention in spring.
I also need to mow the lawn every two weeks. It has been quite warm until now, but it should calm down soon. 😉

We sowed this week (October 15).

Update: At the end of October, there was a slight shimmer, and by November 1st, the growth was clearly visible. Now we just need to wait a bit longer and then we will see how uniform and dense everything has become.

I haven’t sown anything, but I still need to mow regularly at the moment, so it will surely grow eventually.
