Hello everyone,
our sliding door feels a bit stiff. Of course, it’s necessary to clean the sliding system from time to time, which is planned for next week. Have you found an ideal product to lubricate or spray the sliding door tracks?
Many oils or greases tend to become sticky or gummy. I was thinking of products like Caramba, WD-40, or something similar. Do you have any recommendations?

to be honest, I find the experience of users who have used one or another of these products much more helpful.

Recently, I sprayed our large patio sliding door (about 2x2 m (6.5x6.5 ft)) with silicone spray (not silicone oil!). It now slides really smoothly. I have no idea how long it will last, but it’s been 3-4 weeks so far with no noticeable decline.
The product is inexpensive, and you don’t mess things up because it doesn’t leave an oily film or anything like that.
