Hello dear forum,

We plan to start building our house the year after next and are currently looking for companies that offer a concept similar to Luxhaus. We have also come across Engelhardt and Geissbauer.

Do you have any other suggestions for companies that provide vapor-permeable walls or have a similar approach?

Best regards

This is how houses are built in the USA: wood framing, insulation, OSB, and drywall. The house is finished.

Breathable walls are just a marketing gimmick. Don’t fall for that nonsense.

He didn’t even mention breathable walls...
And with OSB glued at the joints, it’s not vapor permeable either.
So what is Luxhaus’ concept then? You should outline it briefly. Not everyone wants to go on a research trip on their website.

It feels like almost every home builder offers vapor-permeable walls.
