I have had the LUFTIG W400 (range hood) in my kitchen for a while now, but it never worked very well despite having an exhaust duct. Only recently did someone tell me that the motor can or must be switched from recirculation mode to exhaust mode!!??
a) Is that correct?
b) How do you do that?

IKEA-Experte15 Jan 2016 15:30There are range hoods that allow switching between recirculation and exhaust modes, but this is not the case for every model. The LUFTIG HW 400 is somewhat older, right? It might be designed differently than the current LUFTIG, which, according to the manual, cannot be switched. It’s best to check the included manual that you have filed.
