Tangolady22 Feb 2024 22:12I have chosen a pergola with a louvered roof.
However, since I am somewhat sensitive to noise at night and don’t want to open the louvers when it’s raining, I’m wondering if it makes sense to order the option where the hollow louvers are filled with polyurethane foam.
It’s not just about me—the neighbors above have their bedroom next to the louvered roof. I want to feel good about not disturbing their sleep.
What experience do you have with an aluminum louvered roof when it is closed? Do the hollow sections produce a loud sound when it rains?
Does anyone have a foam-filled louvered roof and can share their experience?
Thanks for your answers.
