Hello,
we have electrically operated louvered shutters from Storatex on our house built in 2006. These shutters are equipped with a tubular motor, but unfortunately, I do not know the manufacturer or model (see pictures).
The tubular motor has two recessed buttons, one of which is labeled "auf - up." Next to them, there is a large unlabeled push button.
Does anyone recognize this type of tubular motor and could tell me if there is any documentation available?
Is it possible to set the stop position for the fully opened or closed state using these buttons?
Is there a more convenient configuration device available for purchase that can be connected to the connector (top left next to the orange cable conduit)? Is this a standard connector for shutters?

I appreciate any advice,

best regards, Simon

Hello,
Try contacting the manufacturer directly; they should have such documentation. They will likely also have the right answers to your questions.
Best regards

I also think the best approach is to get in touch with the manufacturer. They should have a product sheet with instructions. I wouldn’t try to handle it alone either, as it could cause damage in the end.

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with this tubular motor. I have retrofitted one for our roller shutters. What the manufacturer wrote in the user manual sounded plausible. However, the installation was more difficult than expected. I was unable to slide the tubular motor onto the shaft. My brother-in-law, who is a window installer, helped me then.

Sometimes external help is not a bad idea.

I also have an electrically operated louvered shutter from the company Storatex. I experienced similar problems. No one was able to help, so I contacted Storatex. Shortly afterwards, a technician came and fixed the issue.

So far, it’s working perfectly.

I also tried that, but it didn’t work. I spent a lot of time on it, but somehow it just didn’t succeed. In the end, I had to call a technician, and he also needed quite some time.

It really is a tricky technique.
